Community Involvement

Eckstine Electric Company takes pride in local community. We have help update local parks with new light fixtures and other electric features that make our neighborhood more safe and enjoyable. Listed below are community projects Eckstine Electric Company has helped build.

Aven’s Village:
Opened in October 2016, Aven's Village is an all-inclusive playground geared toward people of all ages and abilities. It includes a mix of sensory, social and physical activities and allows for visitors with various levels of ability to experience similar equipment side-by-side. The all-inclusive concept takes play one step further than an accessible playground by incorporating many types of play such as physical, sensory and social activities that appeal to a broad range of users.

In 2013, the Chambers family and various organizations, businesses and residents partnered with the City of Greeley to support, develop, and finance a universally accessible playground. Shane’s Inspiration, a non-profit company that supports projects for children with disabilities, helped conceptualize the playground. Aven Mondy, a local youth who uses a wheelchair, was chosen as the playground’s namesake. Source: Avens' Village Website
